The proposed changes are vague, will lead to financial abuse of pet owners, and a dangerous precedent affecting the health of pets, and I am totally against the forceful manner in which veterinarians have lobbied to milk me like a cash cow through my public housing.

I experienced 1st hand by my visit to a new vet this month on Maui, with my less then 20lb terrier dog, Teriann, and saw how this works. Teriann is going to be 14 years old in a few months. By my taking good care her health she will be around for a few more years.

The vet said he would “tell” the housing I refused to vaccinate/booster my pet, and I was was attacked by 2 vets at once doing this to me too. I was even told my dog was going to die! From what? We have no Rabies in Hawai'i, Parvo is for puppies, and Heart Worm is by mouth. There is nothing a "booster" can do for an adult dog!

The State of Hawaii has no state or county laws requiring pet vaccination; except in the case of animals entering Hawaii. Following state and county law my old dog might have a chance. Because there is absolutely no reason she needs to be vaccinated, and the vet to make $130 from the 90 cent wholesale cost of his product.

This is a scam! Google it! Those veterinarians do not care about my pet's health. They are fired! And I expect because my last vet who has just retired, also did not want to vaccinate her either; I will find a new vet who cares about the health of my pet, and not their pocket book.

The wording must be left alone, and read as it was before. What is proposed is vague, and inconsiderate to the owners of pets, and the health of pets...not the whims of whoever thinks what, especially when we can be taken advantage of. Seriously consider what I've said here. The matter is life, or death to our pets.

So after my big fiasco at the vet...I thought need not worry...

Then I'm shown a new Pet Policy, and a day to submit comments to the main office. Forced vaccinations...I learned a lot studying this info...Should be applied to our kids too.Crazy for money! And my 1st thought was I'd like to see the emails at HUD with the vet, or veterinary group who set this scam up.

Making $130 off something that costs them 95 cents...!

Where I live in Hawaii we have no rabies, and dogs and cats are not required to get these shots by state law...but, that does not stop these vets...
This morning I'm writing a letter to the main office of the HUD housing where I live to complain about the apts I live at for calling the vet I took my 14 year old 18lb dog to for a healthy check I'm required to do yearly...to confirm I was not following the "housings" rules which follow state and county rules...for my pets vaccinations...
The vet said I refused to give my dog her vaccinations, and my excuse of her being too old was not true!

The 2 vets there ganged up on me...said they would tell the "housing" on me, and that my dog would DIE if she was not given her "BOOSTER".......

I'm not getting my dog a vaccination, and am going to write 3 letters...
1- to the housing main office...and 2- to the veterinarian board...and 3 to the editor of the local paper too!

Vaccines are a money making bonanza for veterinarians...

Domestic dogs and cats today are suffering from an unprecedented and very disturbing epidemic of chronic degenerative disease much of it caused by the very pet vaccines that are supposed to preserve their health.
These animals are routinely presenting with a variety of symptoms and diagnoses that are eerily similar to those being experienced by their owners.
One of the major factors adversely affecting the health of our pets has to do with the quality (or rather lack thereof) of the pet food we feed them.
Besides poor quality food that is not in keeping with the natural diet our furry friends require, chronic and very serious health issues are also emerging due to the shocking overuse of pet vaccines.
Vaccinosis

The umbrella term for health damage caused by vaccines is vaccinosis.
Many people today, along with a precious few forward thinking veterinarians, are realizing that the excessive numbers of vaccines routinely given to domestic pets are wreaking havoc on these animals’ health. This is because vaccines have the ability to disrupt, dis-regulate, and in some cases even virtually destroy an animal’s natural, innate immune function.
Without a properly functioning immune system, an animal is much more vulnerable than it would be otherwise to a wide variety of health problems.
Adverse Reactions to Pet Vaccines

From rashes and behavioral issues, to seizures and even vaccine injection site tumors, the list of adverse vaccine related health complications is long and varied. However, because many people don’t make the connection between the administration of a shot and subsequent symptoms, and because the veterinary industry at large often does not acknowledge such a connection, adverse vaccine reactions often go unreported.
For these reasons and because many people have been erroneously conditioned to believe that vaccines are completely safe and effective, there’s a serious lack of understanding about the issue of vaccine damage among the general population.
There needs to be more awareness about this problem and people need to know that besides acute conditions, the damage caused by vaccines can also be implicated in longer term, chronic ailments.
Some of the more progressive vets who are at the forefront of researching vaccine damage, including Dr. Patricia Jordan, author of the book Vaccinosis: Hidden in Plain Sight, are discovering evidence that vaccines actually cause damage at a genetic level.
If true, this means that vaccine damage not only occurs to those pets that are vaccinated, but that such damage occurs to their DNA, which is then passed onto their offspring and so on down the line, potentially conveying inherited vaccinosis to many more individuals in future generations.
Pet Vaccines a Toxic Chemical Cocktail

One of the reasons why vaccines can cause damage to our pets is because of the toxic ingredients they often contain. Among these are:
Thimerosal — Thimerisol is an organic compound often found in pet vaccines and used as a preservative that contains mercury, which is an extremely toxic heavy metal.Mercury is a powerful neurotoxin and is one of the most potent poisons known to man. Mercury has been shown to impair the function of many internal systems including the brain, central nervous system, endocrine system, kidneys, and other organs.
Aluminum — Aluminum is another metal used in vaccines that has been implicated in neurological ailments in humans. Aluminum is added to vaccines as an adjuvant, which means its purpose is to enhance or boost the effectiveness of those shots containing killed viruses.
Formaldehyde — Formaldehyde is classified by the EPA as a probable carcinogen, and is used as a tissue fixative in some vaccines.
Phenol — Phenols are highly poisonous, caustic substances derived from coal tar which are used as preservatives in vaccines.
Viruses — Viruses are microscopic infectious agents containing genetic material which can only replicate within the tissues of living organisms.
Animal organ tissue — Cell tissue derived from all manner of animals, including monkeys, rabbits, cows, sheep and pigs, are used to culture viruses contained in vaccines.
Huge or Tiny Pet — Same Dosage

Many pet owners would be surprised to learn that the dosage contained in one vaccine is the same regardless of the size or weight of the pet. This means that a 5 lb Chihuahua is given the exact same dosage as a 100 lb German Shepherd.
Insanity of Yearly “Boosters” for Pet Vaccines

Despite the fact that most all specific vaccines designed for people are generally only administered
once rather than repeatedly year after year, it has become common practice in the veterinary industry to vaccinate pets with the same vaccine over and over again – often on a yearly basis – in the form of what are called booster shots.
Because each individual vaccine triggers a firestorm of activity within the immune system, vaccinating pets repeatedly like this over time can end up eroding the animal’s immune function.
It’s important to understand that routine vaccinations are a source of considerable financial revenue for both veterinarians and pharmaceutical companies. However vaccinating our pets repeatedly year after year is, in my opinion, most definitely not in the best interest of the animals.
Bypassing the Body’s Natural Immunity

Our pets’ bodies are equipped with a very sophisticated array of innate immunological mechanisms that are specifically designed to defend against pathogenic exposure.rgans such as the skin, nose, respiratory system, mouth, and digestive tract are all common pathways through which potentially harmful microbes must pass before they have the opportunity to become infectious. These organ systems work in concert to identify incoming pathogenic threats and either neutralize and/or create effective defenses against them.
However, most all pet vaccines administered by vets are done so via subcutaneous injection. This means that such shots deliver viruses, which are pathogenic materials, along with other toxins directly through the skin into the body’s underlying tissues, unnaturally forcing these substances to bypass some of the body’s most important and effective natural defense systems.
This circumvention and short circuiting of the immune system can trigger chronic autoimmune disorders, including the kind of ongoing inflammatory response present in conditions such as IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), arthritis, skin rashes and others.
Make an Informed Decision on Your Pet’s Behalf

More and more evidence is coming to light these days showing that pet vaccines are a scientific fraud and that they’re little more than a huge money making scam because they are neither safe nor effective.
Due to such evidence, I can’t urge people strongly enough to do their own research in order make an educated decision before choosing to have their pets automatically jabbed simply as a matter of course.

Dear Sirs,
I hereby file a complaint against all licensed Veterinarians engaged
in companion animal practice in the State of Texas for violation of
the Rules of Professional Conduct, rule 573.26 which states: Licensed
veterinarians shall conduct their practice with honesty, integrity,
and fair dealing to clients in time and services rendered, and in the
amount charged for services, facilities, appliances and drugs.

I assert that the present practice of marketing of vaccinations for
companion animals constitutes fraud by misrepresentation, fraud by
silence, theft by deception, and undue influence by all Veterinarians
engaged in companion animal practice in this state.

Recommending, administering, and charging for Canine Corona
vaccinations for adult dogs is fraud by misrepresentation, fraud by
silence, theft by deception, and undue influence given the literature
that states:

1. Dogs over eight weeks of age are not susceptible to canine corona
virus disease. Disease produced by canine corona virus has never been
demonstrated in adult dogs. Dogs over eight weeks of age that are
immunized against canine parvovirus will not develop symptoms of
canine corona virus disease. Addition of an unnecessary antigen to
the vaccination protocol will result in a lesser immunity to the important
diseases like parvovirus and distemper, and increase the risk of adverse reactions.

2. Immunologists doubt that Canine corona virus vaccine works, as it
would require secretory mucosal IgA antibodies to protect against
corona virus and a parenteral vaccine does not accomplish this very
well. Twenty-two Schools of Veterinary Medicine including Texas A&M
University do not recommend canine corona virus vaccine.

3. Gastroenterologists at Schools of Veterinary Medicine including Dr
Michael Willard at Texas A&M University have stated that they have
only seen one case of corona virus disease in a dog in ten years.
On several occasions large numbers of dogs have died from adverse
reactions to corona virus vaccine.

A reasonable client would not elect corona virus vaccination for an
adult dog if presented this information.

Recommending, administering, and charging for re-administration of
modified live vaccines like Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus,
Feline Panleukopenia, injectable Feline Rhinotracheitis, and
injectable Feline Calicivirus on an semi-annual, annual, bi-annual or
tri-annual basis is theft by deception, fraud by misrepresentation,
misrepresentation by silence, and undue influence given the
literature that states:

1. The USDA Center for Biologic and Therapeutic Agents asserts
that there is no scientific data to support label claims for annual
re-administration of modified live vaccines, and label claims must be
backed by scientific data.

2. It is the consensus of immunologist that a modified live
virus vaccine must replicate in order to stimulate the immune system,
and antibodies from a previous vaccination will block the replication
of the new vaccinate virus. The immune status of the patient is not
enhanced in any way. There is no benefit to the patient. The client
is paying for something with insignificant or no effect, except that
the patient is being exposed to unnecessary risk of an adverse
reaction.

3. A temporal association has been demonstrated between
vaccinations and the development of Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia.

4. It has been demonstrated that the duration of immunity for
Canine Distemper virus is 7 years by challenge, and 15 years by
serology; for Canine Parvovirus is 7 years by challenge, for Feline
Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, and Feline Calicivirus is 7.5 years
by challenge.

A reasonable client would not elect re-administration of any
of the above stated vaccinations for a previously immunized pet if
provided with the above information.

The recommendation for administration of Leptospirosis vaccination in
Texas is theft by deception, fraud by misrepresentation,
misrepresentation by silence and undue influence given the fact that:

1. Although Leptospirosis is re-emerging as an endemic disease
for dogs in some areas of the country, Leptospirosis in dogs in Texas
is a very rare disease. According to the Texas Veterinary Medical
Diagnostic Lab there are only an average of twelve cases of
Leptospirosis documented in dogs in Texas per year. Factors to
identify those dogs that are at risk have not been identified. Given
that there are over 6 million dogs in Texas, the risk of
leptospirosis disease to a dog is less than 2 in a million.

2. The commonly used vaccine only contains serovars Lepto.
canicola, and Lepto icterohaemorrhagiae, and no cross protection is
provided against the other three serovars diagnosed in Texas . Newer
vaccines containing Lepto pomona , and Lepto grippotyphosa are
available but the duration of immunity is less than one year. To
provide protection for a dog against Leptospirosis would require two
vaccines with four serovars twice per year.

3. Although humans can develop Leptospirosis, the spread of
Lepto. from a dog to a human has never been documented and is thought
to be a very low risk.

Given that the risk of an adverse reaction, a reasonable client would
not elect Vaccination of their pet if provided with the above
information.

The recommendation of Lyme disease vaccine for dogs residing in Texas
is fraud by misrepresentation, misrepresentation by silence and undue
influence given the literature that states:

1. The Texas Department of Health only reports an average of 70
cases of Human Lyme disease per year in Texas, all of which were
likely acquired when people were traveling out of the state.

2. Julie Rawlings reported in her research on the incidence of
the lyme disease organism in ticks in Texas State Parks for the Texas
Department of Health that the Borrelia burgdorferi organism is not
present in sufficient numbers or in the suitable tick vector for dogs
for Lyme disease to be endemic in Texas.

3. Eighty per cent of Lyme disease cases in the U.S. are found
in the nine New England States and Wisconsin.

4. Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine has not documented
one case of Lyme disease in a dog acquired in Texas . Testing on
shelter dogs has not revealed a single case.

5. Dr Jacobson, Cornell University has documented a temporal
relationship in over 327 cases of dogs, which acquired polyarthritis
after the Lyme disease vaccine.

A reasonable client would not elect Lyme disease vaccine for
their pet if given this information on the risks vs the benefit.

The recommendation for vaccination of cats with an adjuvanted
vaccine without offering a safer alternative vaccine is fraud by
misrepresentation, misrepresentation by silence, and undue influence
given the literature that states:
1. Adjuvanted vaccines have been incriminated as a cause of
Injection Site Fibrosarcoma in cats.

2. 1:1000 cats vaccinated develop this type of cancer, which is
100% fatal.

3. Safer alternative non-adjuvanted vaccines are available.

A reasonable client would not elect adjuvanted vaccines for
their cat if given this information.

The recommendation for vaccination of cats with Feline Infectious
Peritonitis vaccine is fraud by misrepresentation, misrepresentation
by silence, and undue influence given the literature that states:

1. Feline Infectious peritonitis is a rare disease...
There is much more...
A reasonable solution would be for the Texas State Board of
Veterinary Medical Examiners to request an opinion from the Attorney
General on these issues, and for the Texas State Board to issue a
policy statement in the Board Notes indicating a Board policy
prohibiting each of the practices I have outlined above.

An alternative solution would be to notify every Veterinarian engaged
in companion animal practice in this state of the complaint that has
been filed against them, and prosecute each and every complaint.

If demonstrated and thorough action to stop the deceptive trade
practices has not been taken by this Board within ninety days of
receipt of this letter I will file a class action suit against the
Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners on behalf of the
people of Texas, for negligence in the execution of their
responsibilities, and I will request a Court order to instruct the
Board to perform their duties.

The timing is sadly fitting as just yesterday we had to put down my mother-inlaws little dog(adult) after she was apparently given the Canine Corona vaccine and had a severe reaction to it.  

She didn't make it a week after. 

Many vets seem to act a lot like mainstream doctors, just peddlers of vaccines and drugs for the large corporations, here anyway.

It appears he at least got the law in Texas changed to "every 3 years" which is something.and This...

I'm not recommending this, but I've had loads of cats as pets over the years and the only medical treatment they ever received was to be spayed. No injections, vaccinations or medicines of any kind and it seems they were able  develop their immune systems so that they never got sick. To emphasize the point, even when there was a flea infestation in the area, all of the cats were flea free. I've always felt that medical treatment in the form of vaccines would interfere with their natural immune defenses.



This will not just affect me, because Apartments, Condos, and home associations use the HUD requirements for their requirements...

THIS is a huge population of pets...and could lead to mandatory pet vaccines above, and beyond what any person could see is unnecessary. And all about making money...

And do not forget they can test anything on our pets, and we would never know what! 
Laws do not cover pets, like it does for us... 

Disclosure of genetically modified with God knows what insect, or human parts...NOT SEEING THAT.

That lengthy list reminds me of the saying: Vaccines…the leading cause of coincidences in the world.

Lies, lies, and more lies…that is how we have arrived at this time today where our legislators think they have the right to disregard and undo the Constitution; the right to ignore that which our country was founded upon, religious freedom, specifically, the freedom to think, believe, and practice in our own way; the right to defy international codes of ethics such as the Nuremberg Code, which prohibits forced medical treatments and procedures, of any kind, including vaccination. Our legislators also seem to think they have the right to violate sacred, God-given parental rights, and the right to insist that millions of parents all submit to a one-size-fits-all prescription, make that scores of prescriptions, which have a long, undeniable history of harming, disabling, and killing.

We must ask these legislators: What Constitutional powers have been bestowed upon you to mandate that I must inject my child with known neurotoxins, known carcinogens, ingredients proven to disrupt and destroy both the nervous and immune systems, ingredients that will destroy my child’s gut and gastrointestinal tract…ingredients that YOU, Senators and Assembly Members, wouldn’t allow in your morning cup of coffee, but that we must inject into our children? What legal or moral authority gives you the right to mandate that I must allow risky medical procedures for my child, numerous times over the course of 18 years, procedures that have the very real potential to cause great harm, grave injury, permanent disability, and death? YOU DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT and YOU DON’T HAVE THE AUTHORITY to order parents to play medical Russian roulette with their children.

I would like to address the recurrent mention that all must be vaccinated to protect the immunocompromised. The elephant in the room that refuses to be acknowledged is how and why do we have so many children and young adults today who are classified as immunocompromised? Could it be that the very vaccines they received, possibly beginning in utero, and subsequently on the day of birth, and at regular intervals thereafter, when their blood-brain-barriers were wide open and their immune systems were undeveloped and unable to handle the barrage of toxins and viruses contained in vaccines, could it be that they are immunocompromised due to the vaccines they received? And now legislators propose to mandate that other children be forcevaccinated until everyone is ill beyond repair?

Furthermore, for the children who are seriously immunocompromised, going out in public is a danger to them, and their parents must decide if they need to be kept at home until re-entry into social settings is possible. Vaccinating all children in the state of CA will not protect them. There will always be diseases circulating to which they will be exposed, including the common cold. There will always be those for whom vaccines don’t work. There will always be those whose temporary, partial, and artificial vaccine induced immunity has waned and is no longer present. There will always be those who just received live-virus vaccines, who are actually contagious and shedding the very diseases against which they were vaccinated. There will always be a risk for those who are immunocompromised…there is always a risk for every one. That does not mean that others should be forced to endure risk to supposedly protect them. Furthermore, that is not the government’s decision to make. Risk-benefit health care decisions must be made for children by their parents, who know them best, who know their present health status, who know the child’s family history, and who know there are many ways to protect, maintain, and enhance their child’s health…risk-free ways without riskladen vaccines.

It is the responsibility of all parents of immunocompromised children to take the needed measures to protect their children. It is not the responsibility of other children, most especially if it could mean chronic illness, permanent disability, or death for those children. It is no one’s right to put themselves in the position of valuing one child’s life over another’s.

I am the mother of a severely vaccine-injured child who is now 21 years old. He is a boy in a man’s body, fully dependent on others. He did not complete high school or go to college. He is not capable of earning a living or living independently, he will not get married or have children. As a matter of fact, he will never even go out on a first date.
He was robbed of ever living a typical and independent life because he was poisoned and disabled by vaccines beginning in 1994, continuing through 1998. There was no informed consent, no acknowledgement of his loss of skills and development of strange behaviors after every single set of vaccines. There was no admitting that he received a minimum of 237.5 mcg of neurotoxic mercury, and neurotoxic aluminum, and formaldehyde, and anti-freeze, and animal cells and viruses, and allergy-causing food proteins, and known carcinogens. No government agent has followed up on his vaccine injuries so the same thing won’t happen to other children. He is one of the unacknowledged, uncounted, uncompensated, ignored, discounted, and publicly-denied victims who make up the ever-increasing epidemic of vaccine-injured persons.
There is indeed an urgent public health crisis sweeping the country and it is NOT measles, mumps, or chicken pox.

I had a tetanus shot at ‪Maui‬ Medical 2 years ago given to me by Dr. Guzman (the nurse was at lunch) and had absolutely no reaction.


I've had all the series of ‪vaccines‬ that people get going overseas...1 in both arms every week it seemed, and had huge swollen and red arms, if a fly landed on my arm I would be in horrible pain (I was 10 at the time)...I hope your ‪#vaccination‬ reaction fades quickly...but the info is good to know...

By Jan DeGrandchamp It was a beautiful fall day, the Friday after Thanksgiving 2000, and the holiday was very enjoyable. A few months earlier, I moved to a small town in California to be closer to my family. I started a new job and purchased a small cabin. Most of my weekends were spent camping…

After seven polite phone calls, I realized that no one was
ever going to return my calls.  The fact that I even suggested the Tetanus
shot may have caused my symptoms probably made they flag my file.  I called
my HMO to let them know what had happened and asked for a new doctor.
Here's a news flash-company policy states that a patient cannot see a new
doctor until the beginning of the next month.  I had to wait three more
weeks to see a new physician.

A few days later, the pain began to increase.  I called the HMO again to
see if I could go to the Emergency Room near my job.  Yes, I was still
trying to work.  It sounds crazy, but I am very determined when it comes to
keeping my commitments.  Actually, my employer was very understanding and
let me sit at my desk all day and do very little.  The HMO told me to call
the administrative offices of the old clinic and ask them where the nearest
Emergency Room was located.  Technically, I was still under their care
until the end of the month.  A clerk said that since my condition was not
life threatening (how she knew that, I will never know), I could not go to
the Emergency Room and I should go to Urgent Care instead.  That was a
drive of over an hour to a different county.  Even though I felt as if I
was going to pass out, I got in my car and drove the 80 miles and somehow
found the facility.  My legs would seize up and become very stiff.  I would
have to lift them with my hand in order to use the brakes or change gears.
It is a miracle that I didn't have a traffic accident.

In hindsight, I realize that I wasn't thinking very clearly, which was a
large part of my illness.  Mentally, I was very confused and being
assertive took too much energy.  The fatigue and exhaustion diminished my
ability to make logical decisions.  All I knew was that I hurt, but I
didn't know what to do about it.  I felt as if I was wandering through a
foggy maze of rules and regulations while totally disoriented.

Foolish me-I thought the Urgent Care physician would see my pain.  After
telling him how much I hurt, he said it was only stress and that I should
relax and maximize my food intake.  Stress does not cause excruciating,
burning pain!  He said that once I relaxed, the soreness would go away.
Since I still had not heard from the original clinic about my blood tests,
the Urgent Care physician called them for my results.  They were normal.
He could not understand why the clinic would not let me know the results
without making another appointment-and he did not understand why I was
given a Tetanus shot.  There was absolutely no medical reason to give me
one.  His diagnosis was "general malaise" - a catch-all phrase for
tiredness and stress.  He prescribed a sleep aid and sent me home.  I felt
very discouraged because this physician could not see how much I hurt.  He
seemed oblivious to how I felt.  

...The woman in Arizona suggested that I get a Tetanus Toxoid IgG test, so I

requested one from my doctor.  Her results were elevated at over 7.0; mine
showed a level at 6.26.  My physician, however, was unable to explain to me
what the results actually meant other than I had a reaction to the shot.
It is my understanding that after two weeks our levels should have been
closer to 1.0 rather than at these high levels after a month or two.  Our
test results showed that we had high levels of Tetanus Toxoid in our
systems, much higher than normal.

After all of this, the only conclusion that I can make is that there really
isn't anything special about my case.  It is a documented fact that a
certain number of people react to vaccines-and I was one of them.  My
reaction is considered a statistical probability-the "one in a million"
that just happens.  Of the small percentage of people who experience
vaccine reactions, an even smaller percentage will be able to apply for the
Program.  They lack the appropriate medical assistance and documentation.
In my group, only one other woman filed.  We both gathered as much evidence
as we could, however, I won and she lost.  Her case was denied because her
medical records did not provide enough evidence that the vaccine caused her
injuries.

...I won my case was because I refused to allow the federal government to
treat me as if I were worthless.   I know that I have rights-the right to
choose, the right to be informed, and the right to be treated with respect.
 After more than three years, I was compensated for my reaction to a common
inoculation.  Many cases take much longer than this, often without success.

I learned some valuable lessons, but they were lessons of pain and
struggle.  I will never be the same.  My muscles are still stiff and always
ache.  I cannot raise my arms over my head without feeling pain, and I
wobble and lose my balance when I walk.  I wear a medical alert tag that
says "no vaccines" so that I will not be given a Tetanus shot if I am in an
accident.  I am getting stronger every day and I know that I will
eventually get better.  Someday, I will dance again.

Since I have brought my personal life into this I want to tell you what happened to me yesterday...I need to get a health certificate every year for my dog to live in the apt. complex...if not eviction...It is a federal/state/county housing...
I get really sick from pesticides, and know I become disabled like 2 times a decade from exposure to pesticides... If you have no money you pay no rent or utilities...Just in case it happens to me I thought this would help. And it did...1 month after I moved here...Slow on set and crippled since 2008, when I 1st moved in!. Better now though...I lost my job and everything. They didn't even send me a get well card, and I was working for what I thought was a caring organization...The Pacific Whale Foundation too
My 13 year old Teriann, Whippet, Terrier, Chihuahua (20 lbs) , who I have taken care of since she was 10 months old...The beginning of her life she got the vacs. before I got her, but not until she was 5 did she receive any more...Then I moved here, and all that was required...I really didn't know that much about vaccines then too.
But, I noticed she would be psycho  for quite a while afterwards...or maybe that was the flea medicine, it all happened at the same time...When she went to the vet!

I had to go to the vet yesterday...Remember she will be 14 years old in October of this year. That is very old for a dog, and I feel blessed...

The vet (new vet -her other retired) is a super sales person, and I'm a chump...
Last time they told me 50 bucks, and I spent 250...cleaned out my bank account...Plus the stuff, heart worm and flea combo drops, for her neck they gave me made her psycho and I stopped using them...They even sold me a pesticide for fleas I knew I would never use! They wanted me to buy the dog toothpaste...But, my account was empty...And they wrote that my dog needed teeth cleaning on my paper!

Health and heart worm check is $55...with vaccine is $139...I said no vaccines...at 13 years old...and without a titer test to see where she is at in her body ...NO

Maybe I should call that other vet near me instead...? But, I know what to expect with this one...Can build defenses before hand...By practicing saying NO!...

Vet took $80 and no vaccination...I had to jump up and down and argue for about 10 minutes, and they had 2 vets trying...He said he was going to note that on my paper for the apt. manager...More threats...

"She will die!" Trying to scare me...for another $100 dollars...
All he did was make an arrow saying the last time she got vaccinated 2 years ago...

The manager asked what that meant when I took the paper to the office...I told her it noted the last time she was vaccinated...And added, "She is too old to get shots now...She is 14 years old this year."
The office manage said, "OMG... She looks like she is so young! OK"
So...NO VAC! YEA!

NO worms and I have been mostly feeding her raw food too.

I was also put through the mill over dental cleaning for another $350...My last vet told me to give her some raw meat soup bones for her to chew on...
But, he offered to do it for me for 229 bucks...She would have to go under though... I like the bones better...If she has a problem with her mouth or eating then maybe...

The most frightening aspect of this supposed democratic process is that those in positions of power are completely uninformed and unable to adequately even begin to assess the bill. That was her reason. Completely blind to the testimony of Karen Kain, and an immunologist, and literally scores of others who came before her. The people were not given the courtesy of being allowed to issue even one comment. They were silenced and chastised for elaborating on the reasons for their opposition. The legislators kept saying that they believe in the science when it is apparent they don't know or understand the science. None questioned the agencies and organizations pushing the legislation. Most important - There is absolutely NO CHECKS AND BALANCES. It is the CHECKS AND BALANCES that is supposed to protect the people from abusive government. Another young legislator who supports the bill told how she vaccinates her own 2 and 4 year old and so she decided that what is good for her kids is good for everyone else. The adversarial, angry legislator who challenged those opposed to the bill to find language in the bill that would prevent medical exemptions couldn't be more obnoxious, clueless and disrespectful to her constituents.

Watching this was an eye opener. Our system of government does not work and can not work as long as there is widespread corruption and ignorance and arrogant idiots in positions of power."

SACRAMENTO -- Democratic-led efforts to ban vaccine exemptions in Oregon and Washington state toppled one after the other last month amid fervent opposition from parents and anti-vaccine groups who say the bills would have trampled their fundamental rights to decide how to care for their own children.


Now it's California's turn to try.


On Wednesday, a controversial bill proposed by three state lawmakers to abolish all vaccine exemptions in the Golden State -- except for medical reasons -- begins an uphill journey through the Legislature. And many observers wonder if it will encounter a similar fate.

Senate Bill 277, co-authored by Sen. Richard Pan, a pediatrician, would repeal the state's personal belief exemption and require that only children who have been immunized for diseases such as measles and whooping cough be admitted to a school in California.

The legislation would also require schools to notify parents of immunizations rates at their children's schools.

The nine-member Senate Health Committee is only the first legislative panel required to vote on the bill. If it passes there, it must make its way in the coming weeks through the Senate education, judiciary and appropriations committees, then wind its way through committees in the state Assembly. Ultimately it must clear both Democratic-controlled chambers and be signed by Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown.

But on this issue, that's no guarantee the bill will pass, said Bill Whalen, a top aide to former Republican Gov. Pete Wilson and now a fellow at Stanford's Hoover Institution.

"People think this is about people who are anti-science and not trusting of the government when in fact if you look at a map of California as to where the vaccine rates are the lowest, they're not in the Central Valley or Orange County, they're in places like Marin County and Santa Monica," both Democratic strongholds.

An informal survey of Senate Health Committee members by this newspaper found that three will vote yes, one is "leaning yes," one will vote no and the other four are undecided.

The debate on the bill comes at a time when the controversial issue that erupted across the country after a December measles outbreak in Disneyland has all but disappeared from the headlines.

In the days leading up to Wednesday's hearing, the chorus of opponents has been growing louder in the offices of the nine senators on the health committee. They say they are being flooded with emails, letters and calls appealing to them to kill the bill. Among the critics expected in Sacramento this week -- Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whose crusade that questions the safety of vaccines helped doom legislative efforts in Oregon.

Pan, a Sacramento Democrat, is cautiously optimistic.

"I have confidence that when my colleagues are presented with the science and the truth about why we need to stop preventable diseases and protect every student's right to a safe school, SB 277 will pass," he said.

California is one of 20 states that allow exemptions based on parents' personal beliefs. In Missouri, the personal belief exemption applies only to day care, preschool and nursery school. Pan convinced his colleagues to pass a law in 2012 that required parents to meet with a medical professional and attest that they had discussed the risks of not vaccinating their child before they could opt out.

But droves of parents are still taking advantage of California's exemption. In 2000, fewer than 0.77 percent of California kindergartners had vaccination exemptions. By 2014, the rate had more than tripled to 2.5 percent, or 1 in every 40 children.

Fifty-seven of the 134 people who contracted measles in California during the recent outbreak were not vaccinated, while another 25 people had had at least one dose of the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine, state health officials reported. Records were unavailable for other vaccinations.

Health experts say such outbreaks endanger people who are either too young or unable to receive vaccines because of a health condition.

As of late March, 178 cases had been reported in the U.S. by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since Jan. 1. State health officials say if no new cases are reported by April 17, the outbreak will be considered over.

Critics of Pan's bill say it's important to put the outbreak into perspective.

"We ought not let a handful of measles cases at Disneyland turn into a full-scale assault on civil and human rights in America," Brian Stenzler, president of the California Chiropractic Association, wrote in a letter to senators on the health committee.

Stenzler's group is one of many opponents, from individual parents to groups like the California-based Million Mamas Movement, lining up against the legislation.

Last month, Stenzler said his members met with 112 of the state's 120 legislators or their staff to discuss their opposition to SB 277. He emphasized that his group is not anti-vaccine -- some members, he said, have vaccinated their children. But, he added, the association does not believe vaccines are 100 percent safe, so "if there is risk, there must be choices."

His arguments will be bolstered when Kennedy brings his skepticism about vaccines to a Commonwealth Club event Tuesday in San Francisco and then the state Capitol on Wednesday. Kennedy co-wrote a book about the dangers of thimerosal, a mercury-containing preservative in some vaccines, which he alleges was linked to autism, a belief that has been widely discredited by the CDC and multiple scientific studies. But as a precaution, the Food and Drug Administration in 1999 recommended removing thimerosal from vaccines routinely given to infants.

Dorit Reiss, a professor and vaccine law expert at UC San Francisco's Hastings College of the Law -- and a mother who supports the bill -- said courts have established the right of a state to compel individuals to receive a vaccination. They have also upheld local government mandates that require vaccinations as a prerequisite for enrolling in school.

And unlike Oregon and Washington, where legislation failed, Reiss believes one major factor is different here:

"California was the place where the measles outbreak started."

I totally bitched them out...If you read the blog or the post know...That if your child is affected by a shot...you will be required to continue to give your child these shots that do not agree...If your child is teething and you feel it's not the time...Forget it! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE...
